More On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status After Crown Jewel

Yesterday during Crown Jewel, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Universal Championship by defeating Braun Strowman. The pair of men were competing for the vacant strap that was forfeited by Roman Reigns, who is currently battling leukemia.

Lesnar’s title win is an interesting one, considering he’s expected to fight in the UFC in early 2019. Per a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Lesnar has two more matches on his current WWE deal. The first being a match with WWE Champion AJ Styles at Survivor Series, and the second being another match with Braun Strowman – either at the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania.

Prior to their match at Crown Jewel, acting RAW General Manager Baron Corbin hit Strowman in the back of the head with the Universal Title. Five F5s later, Lesnar was once again the Universal Champion. It will be interesting to see how Strowman reacts towards Corbin on Monday’s episode of RAW.
