Player to watch

Jesse Lingard: The 25-year-old only managed his first goal of the season in Manchester United’s draw with Arsenal, but it seems that the England international could be hitting some form ahead of the packed Christmas schedule after a frustrating start to the season. He provided some much-needed energy through the middle in midweek and his substitution took the spark out of the hosts’ attacks. Pace will be vital for United if they are to turn these draws into victories, and Lingard will be key to that.
