Impact Wrestling issued the following:
Santana simply shakes his head in disgust when the talk turns to bowling. Konnan, meanwhile, gets a smile on his face and is quick to brag to his LAX pals and anyone else who will listen – and rightfully so. Konnan earlier this year predicted he would win the first-ever Bowling Challenge, held in Orlando, FL, as part of an IMPACT Wrestling VIP Program for fans and a select group of wrestlers. Konnan ultimately was the winner, besting Santana, Ortiz and several other IMPACT Wrestling Superstars and Knockouts.
Well, the second Bowling Challenge is set for Las Vegas in conjunction with the IMPACT Wrestling TV Tapings that will be held Nov. 11-13 at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall.
Konnan, Santana and Ortiz are confirmed to participate, right alongside the worldwide VIP fans who are expected when IMPACT Wrestling takes over Sin City.
“There is no other promotion where you can get this kind of access to interact with the talent and fellow fans. There is a reason that a number of previous VIP fans do it again and again … there is not a better experience to me in professional wrestling,” said loyal IMPACT fan William Gardner, who lives in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and still boasts Moose as his favorite IMPACT Wrestling Superstar.
Gardner was among 40 VIP fans at Bound For Glory in New York City, and he’s set to crisscross the country to Las Vegas.
“IMPACT Wrestling outdid itself with the VIP package for Bound for Glory in New York City,” Gardner said. “From a viewing of Survivor with Johnny IMPACT and Taya Valkyrie to seeing the legend Abyss take his rightful place in the Hall of Fame, (the VIP Package) was a great experience, even before any in-ring action. My personal highlight was my second time competing in IMPACT Trivia and having our team win, and then going against my team members in tiebreakers to take the top prize.”
The IMPACT Wrestling VIP Packages are interactive, emotion-charged, excitement-filled – and nothing will change in Las Vegas. The VIP Package for Las Vegas, now available for sale, kicks off Saturday night, Nov. 10, with a special Welcome Party, with Eddie Edwards among the confirmed attendees.
There will be another Bowling Challenge on Sunday, Nov. 11, and more wacky games and more are on tap for Monday, Nov. 12. IMPACT Wrestling officials confirmed that, on Tuesday, Nov. 13, another wacky round of IMPACT Trivia is scheduled – with 20-plus new, off-the-wall-but-true trivia challenges.
Fallah Bahh has twice been an IMPACT Trivia contestant, and even a champion earlier this year.
The VIP Package also includes nightly, post-show Meet & Greets with select IMPACT Superstars and Knockout, which is the perfect time to snap a signature or two.
“IMPACT always takes care of its fans! I really enjoyed myself (at Bound For Glory in New York City) and will be doing VIP again,” said Anne-Marie Morin, who lives in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. “Swag (given to the VIPs) throughout was awesome! Being at Abyss’ Hall of Fame induction and getting a picture with him and Father James Mitchell was an honor. There was a Meet & Greet with Ethan Page, Matt Sydal, MacKenzie Mitchell, Brian Cage and Rich Swann after BFG, (then) Tommy Dreamer/ Scarlett Bourdeaux, and the OGz’ the other two nights.
Trivia was fun and VIP fans also had the chance to have their picture taken onstage with all of the IMPACT Champions at once!”
IMPACT VIP fans in New York also were given the opportunity to have their photo taken with all of the Knockouts, including Gail Kim, which had not previously been announced as part of the New York NIP Package, yet was among the most-popular VIP elements in NYC.
