Hungover woman mistakenly orders a McDonald’s burger with no bun, patty, onions, pickles, or mustard

She’ll have a McFail! McDonald’s delivers just two KETCHUP packets to hungover woman who mistakenly ordered a burger with no bun, patty, onions, pickles, or mustard

  • Katie Poole from Toronto, Canada, was hungover on October 17 when she ordered McDonald’s for delivery
  • She ordered a burger but inadvertently customized it to have nothing except ketchup
  • The chain delivered two ketchup packets, a picture of which Katie’s husband Jody shared on Instagram

Employees at a McDonald’s in Toronto, Canada must have assumed a customer was a very McPicky Eater when her order came in last week.

According to her husband, Katie Poole was hungover when she decided to order McDonald’s on October 17, figuring the fast food would make her feel better.

But Katie customized her hamburger a bit more than she’d meant to, requesting that Micky D’s hold the pickles, onions, mustard, bun, and even burger patty, leaving her with just ketchup

Not so filling! Katie Poole was hungover when she decided to order McDonald’s on October 17 — and asked that her burger be made with no burger, no bun, and almost no toppings

Still hungry! Instead, she got just two ketchup packets delivered

Her husband, Jody Poole, shared the receipt from the confused order on Instagram.

‘So we had a few drinks last night — Katie decides a McDonald’s hamburger will cure her hangover,’ he said.

‘Now Katie is the type of person who will make modifications to a classic — “no pickles, no onions” etc. So this is what she ordered: “no pickles, no onions, no mustard, no bun, no patty.”

‘They literally sent us 2 ketchup packets!!!!’ he said.

For her part, Katie merely commented with the hashtag #whoops.

Earlier this year, Canadian TikTok user Austin Martin went viral revealing how some of McDonald’s customers’ favorite dishes come together.

In one clip, Austin shows how McDonald’s gets the eggs in an Egg McMuffin perfectly round to fit so neatly on an English Muffin.

Using a custom grill divided into 12 sections, each with a circular barrier for holding the egg in place, he picks up real eggs from a carton and cracks them directly into each egg section on the grill.

In another video, Austin reveals that the onions found on top of burgers don’t exactly come fresh from the farmer’s market. Rather, they come dehydrated in a large 12 oz. packet, which get emptied out into cups.

Water is then added, allowing the onions — 386 servings to a bag — to rehydrate and expand. The bag warns that the onions must sit in water for a full hour to be properly rehydrated and not chewy, and warm water is to be avoided because it activates enzymes and turns the onions pink.
