LAKE LOUISE, ALTA.—A 17-year-old ski racer from a membership in Germany has died in a Calgary hospital after he was severely injured throughout a NorAm occasion at Lake Louise, Alta.
RCMP says the racer misplaced management throughout his run on Tuesday afternoon and died from his accidents Wednesday in a Calgary hospital.
Officers from Skiclub Partenkirchen in Germany confirmed Max Burkhart was a member of their membership and was badly injured in the course of the competitors.
EMS crews and medical doctors at Lake Louise the resort handled the teenager on the scene and he was flown to Calgary by air ambulance.
A teammate advised CTV Information that Burkhart attends faculty in the USA and was not travelling with the group.
